에든버러 인근 저지대의 온화한 평야 풍토가 글렌킨치의 가볍고 산뜻한 개성을 길러냈다. 밝은 금빛 잔에서 딸기 사탕과 풀, 흰 꽃의 향이 경쾌하게 올라온다. 18년 숙성을 거쳤음에도 입에서는 산뜻한 시트러스와 달콤한 과일, 은은한 후추가 가볍게 흐른다. 53.5도의 도수가 저지대 특유의 섬세함을 흐트러뜨리지 않는다. 풀과 과일의 여운이 깔끔하게 이어진다.
