Tasting Notes
밝은 황금빛이 잔 안쪽에 또렷이 비친다. 일본 야마나시 산악 증류소 하쿠슈가 18년의 시간을 디스틸러리 보틀링으로 정갈하게 정리해 들려준다. 잔을 가까이 하면 청량한 박하, 옅은 훈연, 흰 꽃이 부드럽게 오른다. 한 모금 머금으면 꿀, 잘 익은 배, 가벼운 시트러스, 옅은 그을음이 43퍼센트 도수 위에서 잔잔히 흐른다. 일본 산악 풍토에서 자란 하쿠슈 특유의 산뜻한 여운이 깊게 머문다.

quite fresh and floral but rather oaky as well, with big vanilla and even something slightly plankish. A little sour as well, yoghurt, custard… In short, vanilla-flavoured yoghurt. It isn’t unpleasant, far from that, but maybe the oak’s too apparent

malty and oaky. Touches of lapsang souchong tea, overripe apples, vanilla, quite some cinnamon, a little flour and bread, toasts… Works well but lacks emotion, as I sometimes say
