Tasting Notes

Colour

amber

air Nose

the sherry isn’t as dominating as in other bottlings but it does kind of interfere with the spirit in an uncoordinated manner. That creates some slightly soapy notes as well as some rather heady notes of pencil lead, shavings and damp old wood. The spirit has troubles making it through the wood – and imagine its Brora! Yet, there are nice notes of humus, moss, fern (fern grows bigger over time)

restaurant Palate

salty attack, then something lavenderish that give it a 1982-Bowmoreness if you see what I mean. Violet sweets, orange drops, white pepper, cologne (a little)… It’s nicer than it may sound but well well well… Cranberry juice – not sure notes of cranberry juice go well with Brora

timer Finish

medium long, much more liquoricy. Liquorice allsorts and bags of them
