Tasting Notes
air Nose
fresh and lively, quite waxy, developing on caramel, praline and butterscotch. Quite flowery (daisy, dandelion). Nice notes of caramel crème and apple juice. No smoky aromas here, but it’s still most enjoyable
restaurant Palate
rather light if not weak. Always these 40% vol! It’s much simpler than on the nose, with some nice notes of caramel, pollen and light honey but not much else. It’s a nice and flawless Brora but it really lacks a little more oomph. Anyway, ‘Had they bottled it at 43%, or preferably at 46%, it would etc. (you know that song, don't you?)’
