서부 하이랜드 항구 마을 오반의 증류소는 바다와 산이 맞닿은 풍토 속에서 균형 잡힌 몰트를 빚는다. 리필과 그을린 아메리칸 오크, 올로로소에서 마무리한 10년산은 짙은 황금빛을 띤다. 향에서는 잘 익은 사과와 옅은 훈연, 바다 소금기, 셰리의 단내가 층층이 올라온다. 58도의 입안에서는 잘 익은 과수원 과일과 꿀, 옅은 피트가 둥글게 흐른다. 중간에는 오렌지 껍질과 흑설탕의 단맛이 부드러운 질감으로 퍼진다. 오반다운 바다 소금기와 과일의 여운이 길고 부드럽게 남는다.

it’s more closed than the hand-filled, perhaps due to the sherry influence. That said, there’s a touch of fortified wine alongside the usual salty, mustardy notes we adore. A hint of menthol too. It's getting there… With water: green walnuts have taken over, which is excellent news
restaurant Palate
this is really pretty good. Salty, with tart apples, mustard, green sherry walnuts, lime, and a faint detergent note which, contrary to what you might think, is rather lovely in this context. With water: tart apples, cacao, lemon juice, fresh parsley, and a bit of Riesling
timer Finish
fairly long, with mustard and seawater making a comeback. The tart apples and fresh walnuts then take charge
