엑스 버번 캐스크에서 단 3년을 보낸 시간이 런던 증류소 빔버의 놀라운 응축력을 또렷이 드러낸다. 향은 잘 익은 배와 바닐라, 갓 구운 빵이 산뜻하게 솟는다. 58.1도 캐스크 스트렝스답게 입에서는 꿀과 시트러스, 보리 사탕이 강렬하게 부딪친다. 어린 숙성에도 버번 우드의 단맛이 빔버 특유의 풍성한 보리 풍미를 단단히 받쳐 준다. 맑은 황금빛 끝에는 꿀과 과일의 여운이 길게 이어진다.

I knew it. Orange liqueur, Bénédictine, raisins soaked in mezcal (and why not?) and kougelhopf. Basically lovely, as they say in Vegas. With water: cantaloupe, papayas, pink bananas, cassata, peach syrup…

just very smart. Spicy oranges, papayas, lemon curd, ginger cookies, limoncello. With water: a drop of rosewater, then fantabulous notes of pink grapefruit and any kinds of liqueurs or wines made thereof by very smart people in remote countries
