진한 호박빛이 잔 속에 또렷이 번진다. 서부 하이랜드의 젊은 증류소 아드나무르칸은 2019년 피트 셰리 버트에서 6년을 보내며 달콤한 훈연과 말린 과일, 바다 내음의 향을 강렬하게 피워 올린다. 52.6도의 단단한 질감이 입안을 채우며 그을린 단맛과 건포도, 정향의 풍미를 풀어낸다. 피트와 셰리가 얽힌 마무리는 매캐한 연기와 과실로 길게 이어진다.

this is much gentler than 48A, more on grist, pancake, banana skin and, indeed, a tarry smokiness which, this time, behaved. Rather sadly, the olives and the mezcal are gone. With water: a bit in the middle

peatier on the palate, more tropical as well. Smoked bananas and maracuja cream. I mean, smoked maracuja cream. Then more saltiness, brine, lemons, oysters and… some Jamaicanness! With water: water almost puts it back into the same cluster as that of 48A, even if it remains 'lighter'
