Tasting Notes
노즈에서는 27년 숙성한 스트라스클라이드 그레인답게 바닐라와 토피, 옅은 셰리 향이 가장 먼저 두드러진다. 셰리 캐스크의 영향으로 마른 과일과 흑설탕, 구운 견과류 향이 명확하게 드러난다. 53.5도의 팰럿은 부드럽게 입을 채우며 건포도와 바닐라 커스터드, 가벼운 향신료가 단단한 균형을 이룬다. 그레인 특유의 매끄러운 질감 위에 셰리의 깊이가 또렷하다. 피니시에서는 흑설탕과 바닐라, 마른 과일의 잔향이 길게 이어지며 부드럽게 마무리된다. 셰리 캐스크를 입힌 그레인이라는 흔치 않은 조합이 매력적이다.

sugarcane syrup indeed, mild oak, cappuccino, fudge… Some fatter background with oranges and some kinds of sweet oils, corn syrup, Kellogg’s wackiest (totally genetically modified ;-), limoncello and caramel… With water: fair, sweet, fudge-y. Some vanillin has been in use
