노즈에서는 스트라스클라이드 그레인 특유의 매끈한 바닐라와 코코넛이 먼저 두드러지고, 버번 배럴에서 온 옥수수 단맛과 캐러멜이 또렷하게 따라온다. 28년 숙성이 그레인 위스키에 또렷한 오크의 깊이를 더했다. 입에서는 46도의 도수가 크렘브륄레와 바닐라, 가벼운 향신료를 부드럽게 밀어 올려 구조감이 단정하다. 피니시는 캐러멜과 옅은 오크가 깔끔하게 이어지는, 잘 숙성된 로랜드 싱글그레인의 매끄러움을 명확하게 보여준다.
