Tasting Notes
노즈에서는 버번 배럴이 빚은 바닐라와 코코넛, 토피의 달콤한 향이 명확하게 드러난다. 로우랜드의 곡물 증류소 스트라스클라이드에서 1989년 증류한 그레인 위스키로, 29년의 긴 숙성이 부드럽고 크리미한 질감을 끌어냈다. 팰럿에서는 캐러멜과 버터스카치, 가벼운 오크 향신료가 발전하고 55.7도의 도수가 의외로 단단한 구조를 받친다. 코코넛의 달콤함이 중심을 잡는다. 피니시는 바닐라와 오크의 단맛이 길고 매끄럽게 이어진다.

varnish and wood alcohol at first, but civilisation is soon to take over and to let some finer whiffs of vanilla and perhaps orange squash come through. Fanta (is Fanta civilised indeed?) With water: nougat and popcorn, Kellogg's stuff, which would include dried goji berries and raisins this time

this is good, with lovely orange-liqueur-filled chocolates and some creamy, well, sugar-cream-like flavours. Banana foam too. With water: no changes. Perhaps a little more oranges yet, and white chocolate, Jaffa cakes, Twist Pops…
