노즈에서는 스페이번 특유의 부드러운 곡물향과 잘 익은 과일, 옅은 꿀이 가장 먼저 두드러진다. 1980년 증류해 21년을 채운 이 싱글 캐스크는 스페이사이드의 산뜻한 스피릿이 오랜 숙성을 거쳐 사과와 꽃향으로 발전한다. 40도의 도수에도 균형이 단단하며 팰럿에서는 보리 단맛과 시트러스, 옅은 오크 향신료가 또렷하다. 피니시는 마른 풀과 가벼운 바닐라가 잔잔히 잠겨 이어지며, 빈티지 스페이번의 우아하고 정제된 결을 명확하게 드러낸다.

it's well-crafted, to be fair, just a touch weak due to the low ABV. Lovely honeyed notes, with cane syrup, maple syrup, triple sec, nutmeg, and sweet paprika all making an appearance

much the same, pleasantly fruity with oranges and soft spices, though it does lack a bit of punch
