스페이사이드 로씨강 깊은 골짜기에 자리한 스페이번의 좁은 풍토가 1978 빈티지의 21년 숙성에 광물성 결을 새겼다. 잔에는 진한 황금빛이 잠겨 있고 노즈에는 익은 사과, 들꽃 꿀, 가벼운 견과의 향이 또렷이 깃든다. 입에 들어오면 60.1도의 캐스크 스트렝스 알코올과 함께 노란 자두, 보리 단맛, 시나몬의 풍미가 두꺼운 질감으로 흐른다. 여운은 골짜기의 시원한 광물질로 길게 이어진다.
