잔을 가볍게 흔들면 34년을 보낸 카메론브리지 그레인의 깊은 황금빛이 잔 벽을 느리게 타고 흐른다. 코끝에 가져가면 매끄러운 바닐라와 코코넛, 카라멜의 달콤한 향이 풍성하게 올라온다. 한 모금 머금으면 49.8도가 부드럽게 입안을 적시며 토피와 꿀, 가벼운 시트러스를 풀어낸다. 1984년 증류한 이 그레인 위스키는 오랜 숙성이 빚어낸 매끄럽고 달큰한 질감이 또렷이 드러난다. 마지막에는 바닐라와 캐러멜의 여운이 길게 이어진다.

niiiice! Swiss cheese, leather, miso, vanilla, oranges, tobacco… It’s slightly fermentary, which is rare in grain whisky, but which I enjoy a lot. With water: peat smoke!
