Tasting Notes
아메리칸 오크에서 14년을 보낸 우드의 영향이 스카파 특유의 매끈하고 둥근 질감 위에 진한 바닐라를 더했다. 잘 익은 멜론과 배, 꿀의 향이 먼저 또렷하게 피어오른다. 입에서는 크림과 보리, 옅은 소금기가 부드럽게 번지며 48.1도의 균형이 단정하게 받친다. 맑은 황금빛 사이로 과수원 과일과 오크의 여운이 깔끔하고 길게 이어진다.

air Nose
menthol, watercress, lemon verbena, mint, eucalyptus and flower honeys. An immediately enchanting profile that feels like what you ‘want’ Scapa to behave like. Lots of fruit teas, herbal extracts and crystalised honeys that go towards mead and waxy honeycomb. A superb nose!
restaurant Palate
a little more in line with the new 10 and 16 year olds, with a more peppery, wood spice driven character, but also more strong fruit teas, heather honey, waxes, camphor, wet wool and touches of white flowers and fir wood resins
timer Finish
quite long, with a drier peppery warmth, crème de menthe, fir woods, lemon oil and baked apples in custard
