Tasting Notes
노즈에서는 말린 건포도와 꿀, 가벼운 바다 소금 향이 가장 먼저 두드러진다. 오크니 섬의 스카파가 1차 충전 셰리 버트에서 12년을 보낸 영향으로 진한 과일 향이 노즈를 채운다. 61.1도의 매우 높은 도수가 입안을 단단하게 채우며 무화과와 흑설탕, 기름진 맥아의 풍미가 또렷하게 이어진다. 퍼스트필 셰리가 더한 단맛이 중반의 구조를 단단하게 잡는다. 피니시는 견과와 말린 과일, 가벼운 소금기가 길게 발전한다. 스카파의 부드러우면서 진한 섬 성격이 분명한 보틀링이다.

a rather modern and jammy sherry profile that's more about wood than sherry. It's clean wood, but it is rathe assertive with these lactone and spice notes. Underneath that though there are plenty nice notes of sultanas, strawberry jam, fig paste and treacle cake. In fact these rather easy, juicy qualities become more prominent with time. With water: jam and ham! Indeed, these slightly gamey, leathery, meat stock vibes come through clearly here. Along with these red fruit reduction notes
restaurant Palate
spiced dark fruits, cherry bakewell cake, plums stewed in Armagnac and notes of clove and wintergreen. Big, spicy, modern whisky, but very clean and juicy. With water: chocolate sauce, a hint of chilli powder and boozy fruit cake

good length and with a lot of chocolate, coffee and herbal wines
