스페이사이드 드룸기시 스페이사이드 증류소의 시원한 평지 풍토와 미네랄 풍부한 물이 1994 빈티지의 결을 빚어낸다. 옅은 황금빛 너머로 헤더 꿀과 마른 풀, 잘 익은 살구의 향이 또렷이 드러난다. 26년 리필 호그스헤드가 만든 부드러운 곡물 단맛과 백도의 풍미가 두꺼운 질감으로 입을 채우고, 45.7도 알코올은 톰슨 브라더스 보틀링의 균형감을 깊게 풀어낸다.

it’s probably not tremendously old, it rather noses like late 1980s – early 1990s, but that gives it a perfect vibrancy, with lovely hints of leaves, grasses, green tobacco and branches, as well as whiffs of garden bonfire, burning hay, cider apples, and crushed greengages. So we’re rather on the grassy side so far
restaurant Palate
very solid, firmer than many a ‘single’ Speysider, rather on bitter oranges, candle wax, green pepper, and then the same greengages and green apples as in the nose. Also touches of wasabi, perhaps, do those come from that butt? White pepper, green oak…
