Tasting Notes
Colour
pale gold
air Nose
mashier and grainier. Vanilla custard, getting then yeastier (something like stale beer). Also something slightly soapy and ‘dirty’ (wet dog, wet newspaper). Hints of peanuts and lavender
restaurant Palate
more watery and weakish than its older brother. Again these cardboardy notes, even paraffin and plastic (in a certain way). Quite some salt again, roasted nuts, strong liquorice. Longer finish, on caramelized cereals and always this saltiness. 75 points . Dufftown 1993/2006 (43%, G&M Connoisseur’s Choice)
