더프타운 1988년이 셰리 호그스헤드에서 26년을 보내고 깊은 호박빛으로 잔에 잠긴다. 코끝에는 건포도와 구운 견과, 마른 가죽의 향이 진하게 솟아오르고, 옅은 흑설탕이 그 끝에 비친다. 한 모금 머금으면 말린 자두와 캐러멜, 흑설탕의 풍미가 두꺼운 질감으로 흐르고, 셰리 캐스크가 새긴 단맛이 혀를 묵직하게 감싼다. 51도의 기운이 단정하게 흐르며, 마지막에는 검은 과일과 오크 스파이스의 깊은 여운이 길게 이어진다.
