인도 암룻이 빚은 12년 숙성의 그리디 엔젤스 체어맨스 리저브가 더운 기후 속에서 빠르게 익은 시간을 응축한 채 잔에 닿는다. 진한 호박빛이 무겁게 잠긴다. 향에서는 잘 익은 열대 과일과 짙은 토피, 옅은 향신료의 결이 차례로 일어선다. 잔을 천천히 흔들면 그 사이로 잘 익은 망고와 옅은 가죽의 결이 한 켜 더 얹힌다. 60도의 강한 도수는 입안에서 짙은 단맛과 마른 무화과, 가죽의 무게를 펼쳐내고 두 번째 모금에서는 잘 익은 자두의 결이 또렷해진다. 마지막에는 인도 더위가 남긴 향신료가 길게 이어지며 뱅갈로르 풍토의 결이 잔향에 깊이 남는다.

Because, they say one year in India is equivalent of three to four years in Scotland, which means that this baby’s between 36 and 48 years old. Sort of.
