적갈색이 또렷한 호박이 잔에 단단하게 자리한다. 인도 암루트의 그리디 엔젤스 12년 체어맨스 리저브는 엑스 PX 셰리에서 잠든 뒤 엑스 버번으로 마무리한 보틀링이며, 향에서는 농축된 건무화과와 흑설탕, 시가 박스, 인도 향신료 특유의 매콤함이 짙게 펼쳐진다. 60도의 도수는 입안에서 인도 트로피컬 숙성 특유의 강렬한 단맛과 PX의 시럽 같은 농도, 다크 초콜릿의 떫음, 카르다몸의 결을 한꺼번에 풀어놓으며 인도 위스키의 압축된 강렬함을 보여준다. 끝은 향신료의 따스함이 길게 머문다.

Because, they say one year in India is equivalent of three to four years in Scotland, which means that this baby’s between 36 and 48 years old. Sort of.
