Tasting Notes
테이 강 상류 퍼스셔의 애버펠디는 꿀 같은 단맛으로 사랑받는 하이랜드 몰트를 빚는다. 이탈리아 볼게리 레드와인 캐스크로 마감한 이 15년산 와인 캐스크 시리즈는 붉은 호박빛을 띠며, 잘 익은 베리와 꿀, 자두 향이 어우러진다. 46도의 입안은 헤더 꿀과 다크베리, 가벼운 탄닌이 또렷하게 번지며 부드러운 구조감을 보인다. 여운에는 베리잼과 벌꿀이 길게 어우러지며 깊게 머문다.

naturally it’s all right, it doesn’t reek of raw stave or new planks, but there’s a duo of pepper and green capsicum, along with blackcurrant bud, which always tends to set the nerves slightly on edge. It’s a layered nose, one might say, with a delayed and restrained arrival of raspberries and cherries
restaurant Palate
decent, though not terribly charming, with a rather awkward and somewhat Janus-like split personality. Raspberry liqueur-filled chocolates, green pepper and cardamom, with cherry and black pepper stepping in a little later to help steady the ship
