스페이사이드 로시스에서 오래전 문을 닫은 캐퍼도닉은 고요한 강가 풍토의 기억을 술에 남겼다. 1969년 증류된 이 위스키는 오크 캐스크에서 38년을 보내며 깊은 호박빛을 얻었다. 코에는 잘 익은 트로피컬 과일과 꿀, 묵은 오크가 그윽하게 오른다. 44.7도의 절제된 힘은 입안에서 망고와 밀랍, 향신료를 부드럽게 밀어 올리고 오랜 세월이 농축된 깊이를 더한다. 사라진 증류소의 흔적답게 여운은 잘 익은 과일과 옅은 오크로 길게 마무리된다.
