very similar of course, maybe a tad more chocolaty but also slightly less expressive. Probably more delicate as well. With water: this one gets a little more coastal rather than farmy (seaweed), but they are still very close. Very pure, these Acorn

it’s almost the same malt now, with maybe just a little more sweetness (yeah, splitting hairs). With water: again it’s almost the same, maybe with a little more cardboard at the finish. 86 points. Caol Ila 11 yo 1995 (60.5%, Cadenhead, Cask #12406 330 bottles)
