Tasting Notes
잔을 가까이 하면 리틀밀 특유의 맑은 시트러스와 풀, 바닐라의 향이 가장 먼저 두드러지고 옅은 꽃향이 따라온다. 사라진 로랜드 증류소를 부르봉에서 15년 숙성한 이 머레이 맥데이비드 보틀링은 가볍고 산뜻한 캐릭터가 또렷하다. 팰럿에서는 레몬과 꿀, 가벼운 오크의 풍미가 발전하며 46도가 부드럽게 받쳐준다. 입안의 질감이 가볍고 깨끗하게 흐른다. 피니시는 깔끔하고 풀과 곡물의 고소함이 잔잔히 남는다. 폐쇄된 증류소의 단정한 로랜드 캐릭터를 담은 한 잔이다.

air Nose
great nose, rather more ‘Highlands’ than ‘Lowlands’, starting on a beautiful combination of flinty and waxy notes with limey touches. Goes on with more vanilla and a little nutmeg, maybe hints of tapioca, then quite some citrus fruits again (grapefruits). Faint dustiness. Teabag. Also chives and a little dill. All that is fresh and very pleasant!
restaurant Palate
starts very citrusy and faintly resinous. Lemon zests and marzipan, cough lozenge, then more apple peelings, herbal liqueur and unexpected notes of sweet mustard and maybe even a little wasabi. Those notes become bigger and bigger
timer Finish
long and much grassier. Green tea and green mustard, with some almond liqueur in the aftertaste as well as a little maraschino
