Tasting Notes
옅은 황금빛이 잔에 맑게 어린다. 1990년 증류해 24년을 보낸 리틀밀은 이미 사라진 로우랜드 증류소의 섬세한 결을 담은 귀한 보틀링이다. 버번 호그스헤드에서 온 바닐라와 레몬, 잘 익은 배의 향이 가볍게 피어오른다. 53.7도의 한 모금은 보리 단맛과 꿀, 시트러스가 산뜻하게 입을 적신다. 카데헤드가 스몰 배치로 병입한 이 폐쇄 증류소의 위스키는 흰 꽃과 오크의 잔향을 잔잔히 남긴다.

it’s a pure, austere, mineral Littlemill. More on skins than on fruit pulps, and I even find whiffs of new leatherette, new sneakers, chalkboard… Should we call this baby ‘schooly’? Also rather western fruits than tropical ones, so rhubarb and gooseberries instead of mango and maracuja. With water: I find that sneaky to put Yquem 1988 into a bottle of whisky. Very sneaky

ohh! A perfect straight tropical fruitiness that would even beat a 1976 Benriach, if that rings a bell to you. Not whisky, a sin. Quick, with water: there’s some Haendel in this.
