새로 차링된 아메리칸 화이트 오크 배럴에서 13년을 거친 러셀스 리저브가 켄터키 스트레이트 버번 특유의 결을 또렷이 드러낸다. 노즈에는 잘 익은 바닐라와 캐러멜, 옅은 시나몬이 가장 먼저 올라오고 그 뒤로 새 오크 특유의 코코넛 톤이 따라붙는다. 입에서는 흑설탕과 토피, 옅은 정향이 두꺼운 질감으로 흐르고 57.4도의 알코올이 단단한 구조를 만든다. 짙은 호박빛 잔, 여운은 캐러멜과 토스트된 오크로 깊게 머문다.
