Flavor Profile
Tasting Notes
맑은 금빛이 잔 속에서 곱게 번진다. 지금은 헐려 사라진 임페리얼의 1995년산은 호그스헤드에서 18년을 보내며 잘 익은 사과와 배, 보리 사탕의 단내를 가볍게 피워 올린다. 사라진 스페이사이드 증류소의 단정한 결이 향에 배어 있다. 46도의 부드러운 질감 위로 꿀과 바닐라, 갓 벤 풀의 싱그러움이 입안을 온화하게 감싼다. 여운은 깨끗하고 단정하며 과수원 과일과 옅은 향신료가 잔잔히 가라앉는다.

air Nose
nice, pleasant and relatively complex nose, with rather more smoke than in the Glen Turner. Grassier and leafier, with notes of cooked butter, beeswax, peat, whiffs of lamp oil, green coffee, linseed oil… Also various herbs (a little thyme for sure), walnuts, a little vanilla… It’s not particularity malty but it’s nicely composed for sure. restaurant Palate
creamy attack, all on orange liqueur, mead and roasted peanuts. There’s less peat than on the nose, the whole being rounder and smoother than expected. Some honey, ‘Irish coffee’, even Bailey’s, wee notes of cognac. More body than the with the Glen Turner but it’s no big whisky. Good balance, though
timer Finish
medium long, pretty fresh and clean, orangey, with a pleasant sweetness in the aftertaste (fruit liqueurs, Turkish delights)
