잔을 천천히 돌리면 사라진 증류소 임페리얼 1995의 깊은 황금빛이 잔 벽을 따라 흐른다. 코끝에 가져가면 27년 배럴 숙성 너머로 임페리얼 특유의 묵직한 곡물과 잘 익은 사과, 가벼운 꿀이 또렷이 깃들어 있다. 한 모금을 머금으면 53.7도의 단단한 알코올이 입천장을 덮고 카스타드, 옅은 향신료, 가벼운 토피가 풀린다. 삼킨 뒤에는 묵은 오크의 잔향이 길게 따라온다.
