Tasting Notes
스페이사이드 토민토울이 50년의 시간을 견디고 PX 셰리 캐스크에서 마무리된 보틀링이 잔에 닿는다. 깊은 마호가니빛이 잔에 무겁게 잠긴다. 향에서는 잘 졸인 건포도와 짙은 흑설탕, 가죽의 결이 차례로 일어선다. 잔을 잠시 쉬게 하면 그 사이로 옅은 시가와 마른 무화과의 결이 한 켜 더 얹힌다. 40.2도의 낮은 도수는 입안에서 부드러운 셰리의 단맛과 다크 초콜릿, 마른 무화과를 펼쳐내고 두 번째 모금에서는 졸인 자두의 결이 또렷해진다. 마지막에는 오랜 숙성의 흔적이 차분히 길게 이어지며 반세기의 결이 잔향에 깊이 응축된다.

certainly younger and yeastier than the NAS version, much more on porridge and soaked grains. Notes of honey, heather and the same kind of smokiness as in the NAS. Rather pleasant again but a tad blander. In both versions there was something that reminded us of Highland Park (the smoky honeyness, if you see what I mean)

more body than the NAS at this point. Bigger honeyed notes, quite some chocolate again and a big maltiness. Old bottle effect starting, slight mouldiness, tea…
