잔을 코끝에 가져가면 폐쇄된 로즈뱅크 특유의 청량한 풀잎 향이 가장 먼저 인사하고, 마데이라 호그스헤드가 새긴 베리류 노트가 그 뒤를 따라온다. 잔을 흔들면 옅은 호박빛이 천천히 도는 가운데 21년이 빚어낸 시트러스 향이 머문다. 한 모금을 머금으면 50.3도의 알코올이 입을 둥글게 채우며 보리당과 마데이라의 부드러운 산미가 묵직하게 흐른다. 천천히 삼키면 로우랜드 잔향이 길게 남는다.
