Tasting Notes
옅은 황금빛이 잔 안에서 또렷이 빛난다. 1974년 빈티지의 로즈뱅크 30년은 폐쇄된 로우랜드 증류소가 남긴 시간을 담고 있다. 삼중 증류의 깨끗한 결이 향과 입에서 또렷이 드러난다. 코에는 흰 꽃과 마른 허브, 잘 익은 배가 깊게 머문다. 입에서는 55.8도의 단단한 도수가 시트러스 껍질과 옅은 꿀, 보리의 고소함을 받쳐준다. 마른 풀과 옅은 미네랄이 길게 이어진다.

air Nose
very spirity and grassy at first nosing, almost pungent, with just a few notes of lemon zest coming through after two or three minutes. This one is hard to work out… Apple seeds, fresh walnut skin… Gets a little malty and slightly sour like, yes, some freshly squeezed lemons. Gets even smoky (cold smoke). Another Jansenist malt, extremely austere!
restaurant Palate
extremely dry and austere again, dried lemons, grapefruit, with a very nice bitterness and a salty tang. It’s a love it or hate it malt, and an anti-sherry, anti-peat whisky, and for that I think it deserves no less than 85 points . Rosebank 30 yo 1974/2004 (55.8%, Whisyfair Limburg)
