잔을 가볍게 흔들면 사라진 로우랜드 증류소 로즈뱅크 1990의 옅은 황금빛이 잔 안에서 가볍게 흐른다. 코끝에 가져가면 삼중 증류 특유의 청량한 풀잎 위로 호그스헤드의 바닐라와 흰 꽃이 또렷이 깃들어 있다. 한 모금을 머금으면 53.5도의 단단한 알코올이 입천장을 덮고 잘 익은 배, 시트러스, 가벼운 흰 후추가 풀린다. 삼킬 때 마른 허브와 꿀의 잔향이 길게 따라온다.
