Tasting Notes
맑고 옅은 금빛이 잔 속에서 곱게 빛난다. 8년을 보낸 로즈뱅크는 1980년경 병입된 이래 이제는 사라진 로랜드 증류소의 섬세함을 고스란히 담고 있다. 향에서는 갓 깎은 풋사과와 레몬, 들꽃과 마른 풀이 화사하게 어우러진다. 입에 머금으면 40도의 부드러운 도수가 보리 사탕과 시트러스, 흰 후추의 단맛을 매끄럽게 풀어낸다. 세 번 증류한 로랜드 몰트다운 가벼운 질감이 돋보이고 여운은 풋풋한 곡물과 들꽃의 끝맛으로 잔잔히 잠겨 든다. 세 번 증류한 로랜드 몰트다운 섬세하고 가벼운 결이 풋사과와 들꽃의 향을 살려 낸다.

air Nose
light and easy, starting on vanilla rather than lemon and other citrus fruits, with also touches of dried fruits (dates) and a little smoked tea. Also earl grey. Keeps improving after a few seconds, with more fruits, maybe maracuja, as well as a light smokiness. Charcoal. Also touches of paraffin, motor oil and linseed oil but that might be Old Bottle Effect
restaurant Palate
sure it's no big whisky but it's unexpectedly oily - it's almost like when you eat a spoonful of olive oil (which is good for our health I think). Having said that, what happens next isn't quite entrancing, it all gets weakish, quite cardboardy and even a little bitter. Stale tea
timer Finish
short, dry, slightly bitter. The oiliness remains on your palate for a long time though - a lonely oiliness
