Tasting Notes
Colour
pale gold
air Nose
ho-ho, it’s just the same but with less oak influence and with more cleanliness and ‘purity’. The tobacco notes are even headier, that is. And quite some church incense, sandalwood, cider apples... The kind of old Speysider that may make you hate peat
restaurant Palate
totally excellent. Again, please read above. Probably not the most complex old Speysider ever but what a zing! Please, could anyone (try to) make this kind of whisky again? 91 points .
