잔을 천천히 돌리면 짙은 호박빛이 윤기 있게 잔 벽을 적신다. 코끝으로 가져가면 퍼스트필 올로로소가 빚은 건자두와 호두, 가죽 향이 풍성하게 솟아오른다. 한 모금을 머금으면 2008년 증류한 15년 마녹모어답게 졸인 과일과 흑설탕의 단맛이 혀를 감싸고 54.1도의 기운이 정향과 마른 향신료를 끌어 올린다. 삼킨 뒤에는 다크 초콜릿과 호두의 고소한 단맛이 깊게 머문다.
