잔을 가까이 하면 35년 숙성 아일라 피트의 잘 익은 훈연과 유칼립투스 노트가 명확하게 드러난다. 노즈는 오래된 약초 상자와 짠 바닷바람 인상을 동반한다. 팰럿에서는 유러피언 오크의 영향으로 가죽과 진한 다크 초콜릿이 발전하며, 54.5도 도수가 두꺼운 질감을 만들어낸다. 피니시는 식어가는 모닥불과 광물성 미네랄로 균형이 단단하게 이어진다. 1983 빈티지 카올 아일라의 깊이가 또렷한 보틀링이다.
