잔을 천천히 돌리면 옅은 밀짚빛이 잔 안에서 맑게 일렁인다. 코를 가까이 하면 카올 일라답게 신선한 요구르트 같은 산미와 깨끗한 피트 연기, 사과주스와 레몬 향이 산뜻하게 열린다. 한 모금 머금으면 40도의 가벼운 질감이 혀 위로 퍼지며 더 짙은 스모크와 감초, 옅은 소금기가 번진다. 1969 빈티지의 이 아일라 몰트는 정갈한 훈연의 여운을 입안에 부드럽게 남긴다.

fresh, a little milky, pleasantly sour (yoghurt) and very clean. Smoky but not too much, with also quite some apple juice, lemon and kiwi
restaurant Palate
smokier, peatier, with a slight woodiness and a little liquorice. And a little salt. Bolder than ‘just 40%’
