잔을 천천히 굴리면 오래된 금빛이 잔 벽을 따라 느리게 흐른다. 코앞에서 기울이면 22년 묵은 오크에서 온 꿀과 마른 풀, 잘 익은 사과의 향이 은은하게 올라온다. 1977년 증류한 매녹모어를 입에 머금어 굴리면 46도의 절제된 힘이 부드러운 과일 단맛과 바닐라, 시트러스를 펼친다. 마지막에는 꿀과 오래된 오크가 잔잔히 잦아든다.
