바닷물이 스민 흙이라는 표현이 어울리는 캠벨타운의 성격이 31년 숙성 뒤에도 선명하다. 리필 버번 호그스헤드가 남긴 짙은 금빛 아래 밀랍과 뿌리채소, 조린 사과와 모과 젤리 향이 이어진다. 44.9도의 맛은 왁스와 타르, 설탕에 절인 감귤에 유칼립투스가 스치고, 긴 여운에는 레몬밤과 흙, 소금물의 기운이 감돈다.
