해안가 하일랜드 증류소 글렌글라사의 1984년 원액이 잔에서 짙은 황금빛으로 잠겨 있다. 15년이 빚어낸 향은 익은 자두와 묵은 꿀, 옅은 소금기와 토피로 풍성하게 열린다. 입에서는 다크체리와 당밀 같은 단맛이 56.5도의 힘을 타고 또렷하게 번진다. 바닷가 증류소답게 단맛 뒤로 짭조름한 미네랄이 또렷이 선다. 여운은 붉은 과일과 마른 오크로 길고 진하게 이어진다.
