잔을 천천히 돌리면 1973년 글렌글라사 40년이 올로로소 호그스헤드 피니시에서 마셔 들인 묵은 자두와 짠 미네랄 향을 풀어 놓는다. 잔을 코끝에 가져가면 모레이 만 특유의 짭조름한 바람이 셰리 단맛 뒤에서 또렷이 일어난다. 한 모금을 머금으면 41.5도의 점잖은 도수가 다크 초콜릿과 호두 기름을 부드럽게 따라간다. 마지막에는 묵은 가죽의 향긋한 잔향이 입가에 오래 남는다.
