샌덴드 만의 모래밭과 북해 바람을 맞는 글렌글라사는 해변의 짠 기운을 술에 담는다. 마르살라 와인 호그스헤드에서 9년을 보낸 이 위스키는 불그스름한 호박빛을 띤다. 향에는 잘 익은 살구와 견과류, 바다 소금이 어우러진다. 52.2도의 입안에서는 농익은 과일과 와인 단맛, 미네랄이 또렷이 흐른다. 여운에는 달콤한 과일과 짭조름한 기운이 길게 남는다.
