하이랜드 산드엔드 만의 짭조름한 북해 해풍이 39년 내내 글렌글라사 안에 짠 미네랄을 새겨 왔다. 잔에는 짙은 호박빛이 깊게 머문다. 코끝에는 1972 글렌글라사 마스터 디스틸러 빈티지 특유의 짭조름한 미네랄과 마른 시트러스, 광택 왁스의 향이 또렷이 드러난다. 입에서는 옛 글렌글라사 특유의 짠 단맛과 헤이즐넛, 셰리 자두가 부드럽게 어우러진다. 42.6도의 균형 잡힌 강도가 긴 짠 미네랄 여운을 남긴다.
