Tasting Notes
짙은 호박빛이 잔 속에 깊게 어린다. 이미 전설이 된 일본 카루이자와가 17년을 묵힌 이 위스키는 향에서 말린 자두와 묵은 가죽, 옅은 향신료가 차곡차곡 올라온다. 40도라는 낮은 도수의 입안에서는 건포도와 다크 체리, 구운 견과가 매끈한 질감으로 흐르며 카루이자와 특유의 짙은 셰리 같은 결이 깊게 머문다. 낮은 도수가 둥근 균형을 만든다. 여운은 묵은 과실과 마른 향신료가 길게 사그라든다.

this is more ‘our style’ but frankly, I wouldn’t say there’s much happening. I get quite some cardboard and gunpowder, struck matches, raisins, orange marmalade and something that reminds me of tamarind jam, then more light honey and blood oranges. It’s quite becoming quite nice after the sulphury notes have vanished (or we got used to them) but it remains very light
