옅은 호박빛이 잔에 잔잔히 잠겨 있다. 발메낙이 2000년에 증류되어 1st 필 이엑스 버번 배럴에서 13년을 머문 시간은 새 배럴의 영향을 색과 향에 짙게 새긴다. 향에서는 짙은 바닐라와 잘 익은 노란 과일, 옅은 코코넛이 차례로 풀려나고 입에서는 56.9도의 알코올이 진한 단맛과 향신료로 흐른다. 여운에는 1st 필 버번 캐스크의 짙은 결이 길게 이어진다.
