Tasting Notes
옅은 호박빛이 잔에 윤기 있게 잠겨 있다. 스페이사이드 발메낙이 1988년 호그스헤드에서 24년을 보내며 잘 익은 사과와 꿀, 묵은 오크의 향이 둥글게 어우러진다. 55.5도의 입맛은 따뜻하게 입을 채우며 토피와 시리얼, 가벼운 향신료가 또렷이 드러난다. 여운은 맥아의 단맛과 오크가 깊게 머물다 옅은 백도의 잔향과 함께 천천히 사그라든다.

this is funny, we’re finding similar porridge-y notes, then sawn oak, vanilla, bread… Really, we’re at a baker’s, around 7am. Love bread, love bakers, love 7am, love 7am at the bakers’. With water: custard and fresh baguette. Well a baguette has to be fresh, if it’s not fresh it’s not a baguette anymore
restaurant Palate
interesting. This isn’t your average malt whisky, it’s got a spicy breadiness that’s rather unusual, and I’m sure that came from the wood. Baguette, wholegrain bread, then rather citron and oranges, grapefruits, Corsican lemon pie (try it once you’re there!)… With water: careful with water. Just like many whiskies that met active oak, they wouldn’t take too much water or they would get tannic
