much fresher and, shall we say, more vibrant than the modest ‘Heritage’, with grapefruit and citron, lemongrass, some little Italian lemon biscuits (can’t quite remember the name), then Golden Delicious apples and fresh barley. Not very complex, but it’s honest and straightforward, which is always appreciated

restaurant Palate

really taut, with citrus fruits and their peels, green walnut, herbal notes, then some wheat beer, tisanes, and green pepper. You can sense the fresh oak, but it stays well within the limits

timer Finish

fairly long, more herbal, with a distinctly Italian bitterness (amaro, bitters)
