Tasting Notes
버번 배럴에서 25년을 보낸 긴 시간이 토모어의 단정한 보리 풍미를 깊은 단맛으로 익혀냈다. 향에서는 잘 익은 배와 바닐라, 옅은 코코넛이 차례로 올라온다. 입에서는 58도의 높은 도수가 꿀과 구운 견과, 백후추를 끌고 묵직하게 입을 채운다. 1984년 증류해 카덴헤드가 병입한 이 스페이사이드 몰트는 깊은 금빛을 띠며, 여운에는 달콤한 오크와 마른 향신료가 길게 남는다.

air Nose
typical fruity Tormore, rather on plums and ripe apples, with some lovely honeys, beeswax and even pollen. That always works in my book. Mead and old Sauternes indeed (explains why I thought the Lady of the Glen was pleonasmic). With water: I'm not sure water does it much good, it is becoming a tad muddy and strangely earthy. Cancel water!
restaurant Palate
liqueury and more citrusy, tighter on the palate, with bitter touches (zests, pepper) and some cane juice. With water: this time water makes it sweet and a little syrupy. Barley syrup, honey drops…
timer Finish
medium, with some pepper and spicy bread. A little mead, drying grape pips and cinnamon in the aftertaste
