Tasting Notes
잔을 흔들면 밀짚빛 술이 얇게 미끄러진다. 코를 가져가면 그을음과 광물 냄새가 먼저 나서고 뒤이어 젖은 건초와 아스파라거스, 아마인유 같은 무뚝뚝한 향이 이어져 롱로우다운 첫인상을 만든다. 한 모금을 머금으면 코보다 훨씬 상냥해져 레몬과 진저, 버번 캐스크의 바닐라, 풋사과가 순서대로 퍼진다. 삼킨 뒤에는 후추와 쓴 오렌지가 되살아나 9년이라는 짧은 숙성을 잊게 한다.

a tad strange at first nosing, rather sooty and mineral ‘in the Springbank way’ but also very grassy and mashy, dry… Notes of sour porridge, asparagus, wet hay, sour cream, coal ashes and linseed oil, with just hints of struck matches. Wild carrots, lemon peel. Austere and not very sexy to say the least
restaurant Palate
sweeter and, in my view, more appealing than on the nose. Lemon, ginger tonic, vanilla, green apples, bitter oranges and just hints of salt and pepper. Faint waxiness
