Tasting Notes
노즈는 위스키로서는 대단히 이례적인 방향으로 열린다. 마늘과 채소 수프, 육수를 연상시키는 감칠맛 나는 향이 가장 먼저 두드러지고 송로버섯과 성냥 냄새가 뒤따른다. 55.2도의 팰럿은 매우 건조하며 다크 초콜릿과 금속 광택제, 대파와 흑후추가 순서대로 발전한다. 버번 호그스헤드에서 19년을 보낸 결과라기보다 스피릿 자체의 기벽에 가깝다. 피니시는 제법 길고 같은 채소향과 쌉싸름함이 이어진다.

lovely cask, rather deviant, but then, Springbank loves to deviate. Here, it’s all about truffle, dark chocolate, and metal polish, then leeks and black pepper.
